costs. When you visit a Delta Dental PPO dentist, you save money, because Delta Dental PPO dentists
are Delta Dental dentists who have agreed to charge reduced
fees to Delta Dental PPO patients.
- Freedom
of choice. You can select any licensed dentist
you want, but you will receive special advantages
when visiting a Delta Dental PPO or a Delta Dental dentist.
- Claims
convenience. Delta Dental dentists handle all paperwork,
and do not charge patients for Delta Dental's share
of the bill. Delta Dental pays benefits directly to
Participating dentists. With a Non-Participating dentist,
you may have up-front payments at the time of treatment,
and you may have to send in the claim
form. When a dentist does not contract with Delta
Dental, he or she does not contract to limit your
costs.

selection of dentists. Of course, since Delta
Dental's networks comprise more than 142,000 dentist
locations, including 67,000 Delta Dental PPO dentist locations,
you may discover that your dentist is already a member.
- Most pre-existing
conditions covered. Delta Dental provides benefits
for most pre-existing conditions in the interest of
your good dental care.
- Quality
considerations. Delta Dental dentists agree to cooperate
with Delta Dental's procedures to assess quality treatment.
