PROVIDER COMPENSATION
A Contract Dentist is compensated by Delta Dental through monthly fees based on the number of Enrollees assigned to the Contract Dentist, and by Enrollees through required Copayments for treatment received. Contract Specialists and Contract Orthodontists are compensated by Enrollees through required Copayments for treatment received. Pediatric Dentists are compensated by Delta Dental through a contracted fee for each covered procedure, and by Enrollees through applicable
Copayments. In no event does Delta Dental pay a Contract Dentist, a Contract Orthodontist, or a Contract Specialist any incentive as an inducement to deny, reduce, limit or delay any appropriate treatment.
