Information for Delta Dental clients and enrollees in areas affected by Hurricanes Ike and Gustav For clients and enrollees of Delta Dental of California, Delta Dental Insurance Company, Delta Dental of Pennsylvania and affiliated companies Update: Texas has issued multiple Bulletins regarding Hurricane Ike and the state of emergency/disaster proclamation that has been issued for the 33 counties affected in effect until October 12th. The counties affected are: Angelina, Austin, Brazoria, Brazos, Chambers, Cherokee, Fort Bend, Galveston, Gregg, Grimes, Hardin, Harris, Houston, Jasper, Jefferson, Liberty, Madison, Matagorda, Montgomery, Nacogdoches, Newton, Orange, Polk, Sabine, San Augustine, San Jacinto, Rusk, Trinity, Tyler, Walker, Waller, Washington, and Wharton. September 2008 For our client groups with employees in areas stricken by Hurricane Ike or Hurricane Gustav, and for our enrollees in those areas, rest assured Delta Dental will do everything possible to ensure dental health needs continue to be met, in spite of the disruption caused by such disasters. While dental care likely is not top-of-mind for those affected by this disaster, enrollees and their family members still might face emergency or ongoing needs for dental treatment. In some cases, there may be work in progress to be completed by another dentist or your own, and perhaps x-rays, other dental records or dentures have been lost. Enrollees with special situations such as the above, or with any other extenuating circumstances resulting from this event, should call the Delta Dental member company with which they are enrolled for assistance:
