Choosing Your Main Dentist
A Main Dentist will help make sure you receive the dental care you need. Members must see a Delta Dental network dentist to obtain covered services, except for emergency services. You may select a Main Dentist by calling the Member Call Center.
Visiting Your Dentist
When you schedule your dental appointment, tell the dentist you are covered by Texas CHIP and confirm that they are still a Delta Dental contracting dentist for the Texas CHIP Dental Services program. If they have left the program, you may not be covered.
Take your ID card to your appointment. Your dentist needs your member ID card to check your eligibility and benefits.
Changing Your Main Dentist
You may change your Main Dentist by calling the Member Call Center or fill out and fax us the Request to Change Main Dentist Form.
