For more than 50 years, Delta Dental Insurance Company (Delta Dental) has worked with dentists to deliver quality, affordable dental care. We continue to support this effort as the dental benefits contractor for the Texas CHIP Dental Services.

Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) is designed specifically to assist children who lack insurance coverage because their families earn too much to qualify for the Texas Medicaid program and do not have private insurance.

The dental portion of the Texas CHIP Dental Services is underwritten by Delta Dental Insurance Company and administered by its parent company, Delta Dental of California.

The program is administered by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
