You are required to pay any Copayments listed in Schedule A. Copayments are paid directly to the Dentist who provides treatment. In the event that we fail to pay a Contract
Dentist, you will not be liable to that Dentist for any sums owed by us.
Except for provisions in Emergency Dental Services (unless otherwise expressly authorized by us), we will not pay a Dentist who is not a Contract Dentist, therefore, if you have received unauthorized treatment from an out-of-network Dentist, you will be liable to that Dentist for the cost of services.
