How does the Delta Dental PPO network differ from Delta Dental Premier?
The Delta Dental PPO network has nearly 130,900 dental offices nationwide. Delta Dental PPO dentists have agreed to a reduced fee schedule.
The Delta Dental Premier network has 210,000 dental offices nationwide. Delta Dental Premier dentists have also agreed to reduce their usual fees.
What are the advantages of using a Delta Dental PPO or Delta Dental Premier dentist?
Delta Dental PPO dentists are reduced fee-for-service dentists. This means that they agree to accept a reduced fee as payment in full for their services. Delta Dental Premier dentists agree to accept Delta Dental’s maximum allowed fee (which may be higher than the Delta Dental PPO amount) as payment in full; non-Delta Dental dentist may bill you up to their submitted charge. Both Delta Dental PPO dentists and Delta Dental Premier dentists offer the same copayment and benefit schedule.
