AARP members and their eligible dependents selecting dental coverage must enroll for a minimum of 12 months. If coverage is voluntarily discontinued, AARP members and their covered family members may not re-enroll during the 12-month period immediately following the voluntary termination.
There is a period of 30 days from your coverage effective date during which you may disenroll and receive a full refund, provided you and all enrolled family members have not used the benefits under the AARP® Dental Insurance Plan, administered by Delta Dental Insurance Company.
Your initial premium rate is guaranteed for the first two years of continuous enrollment, based upon the Primary Enrollee rates in force at the time of enrollment.
If your AARP Dental Insurance Plan coverage is terminated, Primary Enrollees may be eligible to continue coverage for up to 36 months following their enrollment date.
