Delta Dental names Daniel Croley, DMD, as Vice President of Network Development

San Francisco, CA —The holding company system that includes Delta Dental of California, Delta Dental of Pennsylvania and their affiliates today named Daniel Croley, DMD, as vice president of network development.
Croley, who most recently served as the company’s central region dental director, will oversee network growth and retention, development and implementation of new networks, and leading regional network development efforts in 16 states plus the District of Columbia.
Prior to coming to Delta Dental, Croley worked in private dental practice and as a dental director in Chicago. His experience also includes serving at the American Dental Association (ADA) as the director of dental informatics, representing the ADA and the dental profession at all national standards development organizations. He also sat on several ADA committees, including the President's Committee on the National Healthcare Information Network and the Dental Content Committee. Croley earned his DMD degree as well as a B.S. degree in zoology from the University of Kentucky.

Delta Dental of California, Pennsylvania and its affiliated companies within the holding company system, along with Delta Dental of New York, are all part of the Delta Dental Plans Association (DDPA), based in Oak Brook, Ill. DDPA consists of 39 Delta Dental member companies licensed in all 50 states. The association collectively covers more than 50 million of the 165 million people nationwide with private dental insurance, making it by far the largest national system of dental plans.
