Brokers Name Delta Dental the Best in Coverage

Delta Dental, the nation’s largest dental benefits carrier, received the Readers’ Choice Award from Benefits Selling magazine as the preferred dental benefits partner for brokers. The awards were announced in the November 2009 issue of the magazine.
Benefits Selling magazine surveys its readers annually, asking them to vote for their industry favorites. According to the publication, "this year's balloting produced an avalanche of votes."

The results of the Benefits Selling Readers’ Choice Awards are consistent with another survey conducted in 2008 by independent research firm The Long Group and sponsored by Delta Dental Plans Association. The Long Group Survey found that brokers recognized Delta Dental as the category leader and that the carrier outperformed competing dental benefits carriers in areas that were identified as being most important to brokers, including customer service, value and easy administration.
According to the Long Group Survey, Delta Dental also outperforms the competition on all attributes of importance to benefits decision makers who consider the brand three times more frequently than its competitors. Delta Dental holds a significant advantage with benefits decision makers in terms of brand awareness, reputation, retention and market share. Among benefits decision makers, Delta Dental possesses more brand advocates than any other competitor.
