Delta Dental Names Alicia Weber Senior Vice President and Controller

San Francisco — Delta Dental of California, Delta Dental of Pennsylvania and their affiliates today announced the promotion of Alicia Weber to senior vice president and controller.
A 17-year veteran of Delta Dental, Weber most recently served as group vice president and controller, creating a new treasury services department and overseeing key financial functions of the $6 billion corporation. In her new position, she will continue to be responsible for financial planning and analysis, accounting, payroll and eligibility and enrollment.
Prior to her tenure at Delta Dental, Weber worked as a certified public accountant for Price Waterhouse. In addition to being a licensed CPA, she holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University-Chico.
Delta Dental of California, Pennsylvania and its affiliated companies within the holding company system, along with Delta Dental of New York, are all part of the Delta Dental Plans Association (DDPA), based in Oak Brook, Ill. DDPA consists of 39 Delta Dental member companies licensed in all 50 states. The association collectively covers about 54 million of the 176 million people nationwide with private dental insurance, making it by far the largest national system of dental plans.
