Kenzie Ferguson Joins Delta Dental of California as Vice President of Foundation and Corporate Social Responsibility

San Francisco — Delta Dental of California is pleased to announce Kenzie Ferguson as its new vice president of foundation and corporate social responsibility (CSR). Ferguson brings a wealth of corporate non-profit expertise to her role leading Delta Dental of California’s CSR efforts and the Delta Dental Community Care Foundation.

The Delta Dental Community Care Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Delta Dental of California and its affiliates, has provided more than $39 million in funding since its inception in 2011 to support increased access to quality dental care, oral health education, and to advance research across the enterprise’s 15-state service area, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.

As vice president of foundation and CSR, Ferguson will provide strategic vision and direction to Delta Dental of California’s charitable and philanthropic giving, community service, and associated CSR programs in conjunction with the enterprise’s mission of advancing dental health and access to care through exceptional dental benefits, service, technology and professional support.

“We are committed to improving the health and enhancing the lives of the people in our communities, especially those who are most in need,” said Mike Castro, president and chief executive officer at Delta Dental of California. “In 2018, the Delta Dental Community Care Foundation supported more than one million children and adults and over 350 community dental care clinics. We look forward to Kenzie leading our philanthropic efforts and building upon the Foundation’s commitment to improving the oral health and wellness of underserved populations throughout the states Delta Dental serves.”
