Use a network dentist and pay a copay for most services performed by a general dentist. There are no deductibles with this plan.
You must visit a DeltaCare USA1 network dentist to receive benefits under the DHMO plan. Check if your dentist is in-network or find a DeltaCare USA dentist nearby.
With this plan you will typically pay less if you choose a PPO network dentist. Deductibles and coinsurance apply.
You can choose from two networks:
Delta Dental PPO — Dentists in this network typically charge less for covered services, and you will get the most savings.
Delta Dental Premier® — Dentists in this network may charge more for covered services than dentists in the PPO network. Services are covered at the same coinsurance, but you typically won’t save as much with a Premier dentist as you would with a PPO dentist.

How the recommendation process works
- We'll reach out to your dentist within five business days of receiving your online recommendation form.
- If your dentist wants to join, we’ll begin the certification process, which takes 30-45 business days from when we receive your dentist’s completed application.
- We’ll add your dentist to our online dentist directory (Find a dentist tool) once the application process is complete.
We won’t be able to notify you of your dentist’s decision; please check our online dentist directory for updates. If you have questions about your dentist’s network membership, please contact your dentist.
